Great Dividing Range

The Range runs along the southeast and up the east of the country dividing the coastal regions from the hinterland. The highest point is about 2200m (7300ft). We climbed into the hills from Victoria in the south of NSW en route to Canberra, and spent a few days in the hills on the Queensland border.
