It's now five years since the trip and I've still not added all the pictures. One day I'll complete the pictoral story.
Mark Jauquet, an old friend from my Malawi days (and a crazy cyclist!), had the idea for the trip. As it was always something I'd wanted to do, we both had time in the spring of 2001, and our wives were understanding enough to let us go, an idea became reality. We set off on 25th March 2001 from San Diego California. 34 days (33 in the saddle and one of well earned rest) and 3300 miles later we arrived in St Augustine Florida.
