Wanganui House
Our house in Wanganui is in a pleasant area with mature trees and beautiful gardens. The original houses are perched on a ridge above us, at some point (1970's
most likely) extra homes including ours were built on a level with the road in what would once have been front garden/ yard. While the area is very like a nice British suburb
the houses are reminiscent of the US, ours is a basic 3 bedroom ranch, or bungalow to the Brits. For those who really want an idea of the place (and have a fast internet connection
- it worked well with our 128kBps DSL) check out the video here.
