Atlanta
One of the major southern cities historically and today. The cyclorama is a huge cylindrical oil painting of the battle of Atlanta where the South suffered a major defeat in the Civil War.
Central seating that turns allows you to see the whole work, which has added models for a 3-D effect. Downtown Atlanta now centers on Centennial Park developed for the 1996 Olympics.
