Ohio River
Situated on the Ohio River on the Indiana - Kentucky border the Falls of the Ohio are not as impressive as they once were with the development of dams and hydro electric installations.
However there are impressive fossil beds to see and it was the site where Lewis and Clark's epic journey to explore the west began.
