Interesting link: While staying in Glasgow we started running the Glasgow parkrun on a Saturday, and I liked the concept so much I helped set one up in Inverness.
This excellent concept is to have a free to enter,
weekly 5km race on an attractive course where you can just turn up and run. It is mostly organized online with the help of volunteers on the day.
There are now nearly 200 runs in 7 countries and new events starting almost every week.
Where are we now? After moving back to Scotland in early 2009 we moved north to Inverness, a rapidly expanding city situated between Loch Ness and the Moray Firth in northeast Scotland. I'm enjoying working as a dentist again, combining both clinical and public health aspects of the job. Up until recently Tracy was working even further north, on the island of Hoy in the Orkneys, off Scotland's north coast. I've been traveling to Orkney regularly so there are lots of pictures of the islands.

I've spent much of the last 22 years travelling, when the need to earn money didn't intervene, and taken a lot of pictures. I have posted pictures from countries I have lived in (Malawi, the UK, USA, Grenada, New Zealand, Australia), my more recent travels (Ecuador, Costa Rica, Grenada, Asia, Germany, Luxemburg, Belgium) and there are links to complete sites I put together in the past dedicated to a medical mission in Uganda and Kenya and two marathon bike rides.
